Product FAQ
Answers about chair adjustment, fit, identification, parts and safe everyday use.
Adjustment and fit.
How do I identify my exact chair model and generation?
Check the product label on the underside of the seat or base. Record the full model code and SKU, not only the family name. Parts and guides can differ between generations such as T50 1st Generation, T50 2nd Generation and T50 AIR 2nd Generation.
Why does my backrest not lock at every angle?
SIDIZ models use different tilt mechanisms. Some provide multi-position locking, while others provide upright locking or free tilt with adjustable tension. Check the guide and specifications for your exact model before applying force to a lever.
How should I set seat height?
With your feet supported, set the seat so your thighs are approximately level and your knees are comfortable. Avoid pressure behind the knees. A footrest may help where the desk height prevents a lower seat position.
How should lumbar support feel?
Lumbar support should meet the natural curve of your lower back without pushing you forward. Adjust height and depth gradually where the model provides those controls, then reassess after several minutes of normal work.
Can I add a headrest or armrests later?
Only where the exact model, generation and configuration are designed for that component. Confirm the full SKU before ordering. Similar-looking mounting points do not guarantee compatibility.
Which castors are suitable for my floor?
Castor type depends on both the chair fitting and the floor surface. Easy Repair Type A and Type B parts are not interchangeable. Confirm the product label and contact support if the fitting type is unclear.
Care and safe use.
How should I clean mesh, fabric or coated surfaces?
Remove loose dust with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum. Use a clean, slightly damp cloth for hard surfaces. Do not soak upholstery, use abrasive cleaners or apply solvents. Test any cleaner on an inconspicuous area first.
When should I stop using the chair?
Stop use if you find a cracked structural part, loose base, damaged gas lift, unstable castor fitting or any unexpected movement that could affect safety. Contact SIDIZ Australia with photos and the model label before attempting a repair.
